Our mission is to facilitate life skill education to support the developmental needs of youth by providing holistic enrichment activities. We accomplish this through programs and focus groups to enhance the lives of youth.
League of Extraordinary Youth
Beginning Summer 2017: The League of Extraordinary Youth is an Entrepreneurial Program that takes place for (3) weeks in June and July for ONLY (40) high school aged students grades 9th - 12th. Students will be immersed in an intensive two week program for youth who are interested in the world of entrepreneurship. It includes the materials, field trips, business coaching, breakfast, lunch and more for FREE (to all participants who meet the income guidelines). Applications will be made available April 2017.
iAMPS College Transtion Mentoring Program
Beginning Spring 2017: iAMPS (Inspired to Achieve My Potential Scholastically) is a College Transition Mentoring Program where high school age students (9th -12th grade) meet for one week (5 DAYS) during Spring break to include breakfast, lunch, 5 local Campus Tours, and materials. Students who participate in camp are mentored for the remainder of the school year after the conclusion of camp. Registration is now closed for 2017. However, you are able to stay connected by completing the interest form below for next year.
Vacation Bible Summer (VBS) Program
Beginning Winter 2017: The I Bridge the Gap Vacation Bible Summer Program is a is a FREE (2) week winter program for (20) youth in grades 10th - 12th. It includes the materials, extracurricular activities, breakfast and lunch. This program is closed to the children from our previous family participants in the 2015-2017 academic school year. Applications for the 2017 - 2018 school year will be distributed in the summer.
After School Academy (A.S.A)
Beginning Spring 2018: The after school academy is available for high school at risk youth with a weighted grade point average of 1.5 to 2.0 attending one of the public, private or charter schools within the North and Central Regions of Miami-Dade County. Sessions are designed to provide participants with strategies and resources that will aid them in developing and implementing action steps to successfully matriculate from high school to college.
